Motion Graphics vs 3D Animations

When you reach the respective market to make a video for your business, you should most likely to hear the following terms 3D animation and Motion graphics. Prior to taking a call, you should understand what they actually mean and how they impact your video output.

The 3D animation is a system of capturing progressive drawings or places of manikins or models to make a fiction of development when the film develops as a grouping. On the other hand, a motion graphic scene sequence is created by moving objects, texts and voice over. In other words, Motion graphics are pieces of digital footage which create the illusion of motion or rotation and are usually combined with audio.

Now let's take a look at the following images. A 3D Image used in 3D Animation and 2D image normally used in Motion graphic.



However, you can still use a 3D image in a Motion graphic scene sequence however photo-realistic character actions are possible in 3D Animations.

When it comes to price - Motion graphic content is cheaper than 3D Animation. Most companies charge a Min of INR10 to 15K for a Minute Motion graphic video while 3D Animation price ranges from INR 900 to 2500/Sec. However, for long time projects, they may charge a competitively less charge for 3D Animations. My Company did 3D Animation for 9K to 12K for long-term projects.

Conclusion:
It depends on the content which you would like to create. If you require photo-realistic output then 3D Animation would be the best choice especially if you are looking to produce a safety Animation for your industry/office, Walkthrough Animation for your real estate project then a 3D Animation would be the best choice. If you are looking to explain your product or your business insights you can go for Motion graphics.
